Looks like paradise! Does Alaska have the same regulations regarding wild v. hatchery fish?

You can never get enough fishing time in for yourself. Nice to see you got some time off work to go and do so.

didn;t see him, he was probably on the lower river drifting, I prefer to fish above the 9 mile bridge, a 20 mile float isn't my idea of a good time.

I did manage to dust a 6 wt RPL and a new fly line on a 40+ inch chromer that I played for about 20 minutes before he exploded my ferrel, and ran the line through 2 log jams.. but I never liked that rod anyway.
as for the questions, Alaska doesn't have hatchery steel, on most systems you can keep one a day over 36" but I have never seen anyone keep one, alaskan steelheaders adore their fish, everthing is a secret and its a very respected fish.
that is in fact a dolly, one of about ten I caught in 3 days. I fished one of the days with only spoons on my spin rod, the rainbow spoon produced 12 steelhead in one day. tommorow the spoon and I will be on the Kasilof, we will see how it does there.

That just sounds awesome, your a very lucky dude! Can't wait for my first Alaska trip!

You alright in the 4th picture? By the look on your face and the way your, uhhh, sitting on your legs looks a little uncomfortable..

when you are wet, tired of 2 hrs of walking in 3 ft of crusty snow, almost out of ciggarettes.. drank your last redbull 2 hrs earlier.... and are no longer comfortable... is exactly the time a 2 fish in a day guy breaks.... and a 16 fish that day guy starts bummin smokes and eatin snow. Comfort is for pus..... never mind. Hey good to see you around, though you had vanished.

Yeah I don't post here much anymore.. More looking. And I've been suuuuuuuuuper busy lately. With all this Olympic stuff.

And I agree with you. Comfort is for pu..... nevermind. If you don't have holes in your waders your not fishing right. lol
