After about 20mins starting from the water pump, I found myself in-between the duo fallen trees and the bank (rivers really dropped :)) jenson super-duper let her sink nabbed a 12" native. Made up for the days of nothingness. :)

I am glad you did well. I once fished with a friend who works as a guide and he took me to that very location. Using a diver everyone in the boat had a fish within 15 minutes. I wonder what it is that the fish like about that spot.

I would have to say, that it's prbably cuz the slower water, the debth, the gravel bottom there, and the abundance of overhanging bushes, trees, limps. It is bug heavin on that side.

Not to mention most of that side is all undercut banks, with lots of shade up tight. The other side is kind of bare.

All my fish have been on the shore with the pumps. Ive seen fly fishers pull out some fish on the other side.. Most def right there rfl, looks like the rivers split into to sections here, there's a pool, next to a run with a submerged bar\potential riffle underneath (between i5 and the civil bridge). Theres a sweet spot out there for me too, which is kinda weird. I like to stand on that bridge and just watch a while.

The side, opossite of the boat ramp, where the racks are?? They would be the pumps?? The (north shore) of armitage. (mckenzie view drive) i believe it is. There is two logs down above the I-5 bridge, and the gravel bar is like 5 feet in front of the logs?? This would be the side, where everyone swims in the summer.

I know some things bout dat spot....

That would be the one. People swimming, woo. But when summer comes around ill be facing the I-5 on that middle sand bar both sides. It really reminds me of a place on the Bitterroot river in Montana near Missoula. Super dupers, are the only single thing ive gotten a fish on, other than a 8" that went for my kastmaster.

But, but, but, we should hit the water sometime. Since you been rippin them lips, on these waters for some time now.
