Adventure time (not the tv show)

Alright, so this Saturday is adventure time. No, I am not talking about the Cartoon Network TV show. Although that is a pretty awesome show to watch with my kids!! Hahahahaha

I am referring to: who wants to go on one with me this Saturday?

Quick breakdown:

NW Coastal stream/river

I haven’t fished it before

Fly fishing

A few miles hiking on a logging road, then drop down to the stream/river and fish it back up a few miles. The hiking shouldn’t be difficult at all …. But that being said, I haven’t hiked this road before nor have I fished this particular water yet … so can’t guarantee anything. :think:

All day trip: Meeting at 8am at parking location (it is approx. a 2 hour drive from Beaverton out west), back to vehicles around 5, 6, or 7pm (depends on how the fishing is going, how far down we go, and how long it takes us to get back up.)

I had one friend and one cousin that were going to go but one has to work and the other is going salmon fishing with his dad on Thursday so he will be all fished out.

I have one OFFer that might be going with me but waiting to hear back.

Who’s up for a little adventure/exploring/fishing? :dance:

If the OFFer can come, I think 1 or 2 other people could go with us. Should be fun.

I want to say that I think it is really cool that you post these open invites on here. I would love to go this weekend, but unfortunately I will be racing the rain to stain my deck, plus I wiped out while cleaning it last weekend and likely fractured my tailbone according to the doctor. Not as mobile for a couple of weeks as I would like.

One of these days I would love to go on one of your adventures. I grew up flyfishing small streams in PA and have not done much of that in a long time.
