Yeah, pretty sure they stock around lunchtime on Thursdays, I seem to remember them doing it pretty predictably for the last few years. Almost went to the canal anyway today cuz the weather was so nice.grampa ron said:

I'm gonna head by AB today at lunch to take my boxer to the off-lead park and see if the truck came by, hopefully the weather will hold despite the predictions that we were going to catch a storm sometime yesterday.. I'd like to catch a couple after work! :think:

Haha, slaughter fest out there today... between 12-2:30ish! C&R'd 16, lost like like 7, and gave 3 away. It was a spoon bite for me... 1/4 rainbow thomy did the majority of the work, brown trout thommy is responsible for 1 fish, brass castmaster got 1 fish. Hooked 2 on a spinner, landed 1. Goal was to c&R 4 limits and give a few fish away to ones that were struggling.
Gave a few of my (GO TO) Thomas's out to peeps casting lures that were having a hard time. They caught some fish, then i told em about my "secret scent" that is not so secret. (smelly jelly krawfish scent) Works like a champ in AB.

The state fooled all of us. They brought in mostly 14 to 16 in. fish. It was a blast with a fly rod. I don't know how many I caught.

Yeah I was kind of amazed, the fish were monsters compared to what I was expecting, and they were hitting my spinners on the first cast when I'd switch out. I only got an hour or so in before it got dark but it seemed like most folks doing cast and retrieve were limiting out pretty easily.grampa ron said:
