Found this nice big/ thick guy pretty quick out there today. my biggest summer yet(JUST SO FAR THIS YEAR). 33" and pushing 11 pounds. Sorry about the weird photo angle. I know you've all prob heard this before, but the fish was much thicker than it looks in the pic...

Yeah Yeah that is like the one arm man that stuck his hand and told me he had caught fish this long. All joking aside congrats on the big one Brandon.

Ha ha yeah I was pretty disappointed when I saw the pic. I should have checked it before I left the river. Oh well. Yeah it was nice to catch a bigger one. I'm fine with cookie cutters too though! Ha ha. What was really cool about this one was in really low/ clear water. So I got to watch the fish the whole time from hookest to land. It was cool and actually helped me anticipate the fishes actions so it made me able to fight it really well!

Yeah he was a beauty! Not the biggest fish I've seen out there this year though. On the 4th I saw a guy a little ways above me land one 38" amd was probably around 14 pounds. And in june I netted one for a guy named dave and it was 42" and was probably 16-18 pounds. It was one of the biggest ones I've seen out of the MAC. There are some hogs in there

I honestly think that 33 incher there is the biggest I've seen in the mid fork and Mac.... that's why it made my day so much to land that one at almost 31 inches last week. Way to rain on my parade

You just explained how i was able to fight my 25inch or so redside last year, with 6lb mainline, 4lb test leader and my 7'6" okuma that no longer exists anymore. And that is why i spend most of my time sight fishing for them when in the right spots. You get all the action, there is nothing like watching a big fish viciously take your bait.
I still havent been able to beet 29". Looks like your loosing spree may have stopped. Good fish brandon.

Are you really sure you caught 7 fish? Someone's for sure gonna get jealous!!!
Ha ha no I wish! That was the date! I just had then one fish. I now realize how that could be confused for the amount of fish! Ha ha I would be a happy camper if I went 7 for 10
