Got this bad boy on my rod that i just got from Oregon Rod an Reel. Its a discontinued rod fetha styx had made, a real light action steelhead rod, i thought id lost the fish after it wrapped its self around a boulder so had plumb2fish row me over an got it free...

Was a really nice fish, at least 20lbs....the fetha stik whooped em.....was good to see Ryan and Casey both get into fish....

the rod was on consignment, the previous owner didn't know how to cast a bait caster so he had the rod/reel left there an i got the rod. Its a model #FS-SH-864-2C which fetha styx dont make anymore but do carry a FS-SH-865-2C which is a medium heavy rod, im sure itll be the same rod just alittle stiffer

haha, funny you say that cause about a hour later we picked up anchor an moved to another spot an after dropping my anchor i noticed my new rod doubled over an realized the hook got caught up in the anchor rope, good thing we only dropped anchor in 2 foot of water.
