Man catches largest fish pulled from Oklahoma waters

The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife says the largest fish ever caught in Oklahoma waters was recently recorded.
The department says Paul Easley pulled an 8-foot alligator gar weighing 254 pounds out of Lake Texoma recently. The fish has a girth of 44 inches.
The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife says the fish is very unique and lives a long life. Alligator gar only have periodic spawning opportunities.
