Popular Topics in Columbia River

I have heard about guys bank fishing salmon on the Columbia river and just want to know the real scoop on how to do it! size rod, location, etc.?

I was wondering if there is any good bank fishing on the Columbia river right now for the chinook. I know Bonniville is productive, but I'm assuming they aren't there yet.

anybody know if plunking near tanner is productive right now?

Well for my first ever attempt at plunking I settled on Sauvie Island. After getting some suggestions, which I will be using in the future

So I wanna know where are some good spots to fish Columbia River for sturgeon on the bank/shore? I usually fish on the Court house docks in St. Helen's and Prescott beach but would like to know of any better spots.

Was able to catch my first salmon a few weeks ago out in the mouth of the Columbia River in my brothers boat. In 3 days i landed 5. It was awesome. Now im hooked.

I'm from Eugene, and I rarely make it to Portland. I'm going to be there Saturday and was wondering where would the one place you would go if you only had one day to fish?
