Where are the crawfish? Used to got to stream behind triangle but looking for more spots. For eating not bait,not looking for heavy metal crawfish.

Just a kid from Texas looking to get into good warm water fish around Corvallis. Anybody have good recommendations on where to have good chances at catfish in western Oregon?

just wondering if anyone knows what the best places to go catch crawdads in Central Oregon are...where NOT to go is helpful too. Looking to use traps, and also go out in shallow water and let the kids grab 'em.

I'm giving thought to fishing the Umpqua or maybe the Smith River, as I understand they are fairly established in both. Anyone care to offer their knowledge about those rivers?

My breaded pike is delish, and I dont even like fish. Ive heard they're here, and unwanted. Well I want them, I usta be really into it in Montana. I can tie flys, make swim baits (hand carved\softplastic), but frogs are my favorite.

Can anyone recommend me good places to crayfish around the Portland/Gresham area? I have tried the Columbia River once, Sandy River twice, and even the Clackamas River once which were all disappointments (1 to 4 crawdads per trip).

I used to live at Lake Nacimento on CA central coast. Crappie fishing there was abundant and crappie between on and two pounds were the norm, alone with a great population of Channel catfish, Small mouth and spotted bass...

I usually do pretty good using chicken for crab bait. Today I discovered I had put some chicken into my shop refrigerator instead of the freezer. I have not idea how I did this, may to much Jack one evening.

I spend most of my summers sittin at home when i would like to be out fishing. So I pledged it would be different this time. I don't have a car but I am within bike distance of Sellwood Bridge/ Oaks Park area.
