Was anyone able to make it up to Davis for fly bass fishing last year? I never made it up there, myself? Will try again this summer.

I'll be heading from Eugene to Wallowa country this summer. I've heard that Prineville res and some other spots hold cats. Anyone know if they are worthwhile targets? I know the far east resevoirs along the Idaho border hold'em, but I wondering if there is anywhere I can camp and nightfish along...

Has the trout populations been bit pretty hard then? I remember a number of years back when bass started showing up. It was expected then they would take over. So is ODFW trying to manage for trout or both? Fished for years but am getting out my dad's olf fly rods and tackle to give fly...

My family used to camp at Davis Lake a lot before the fire. I was thinking of heading back this year and finding a new camping spot. This is a fly fishing only lake with, as I understand it, a growing bass population. Has anyone fly fished for bass before? Anyone fished Davis? Any suggesions?

A couple things to know...there is a $98.00 fine if you fail to purchase a $3.00 parking pass at the county parks. Be careful, they may look boarded up, but they are patrolled by public works and they lay the smack down on the no-permit parking. Also, break-ins occur. The lot at Kirk Ponds...
