Don't know if this is true or not but, heard there has been channel cat plants in the pond at the old Adair Airbase just south of Albany. Not very big pond but who knows!

I think your talking about tube gauze? Got some a couple years aago and can't remember wat but stuff didn't work. Think it was for a leg if I remember. Anyway the beef liver I used to get in Colorado I haven't been able to find here. All I've found is that calf liver.

I used beef liver in Colorado for cats. Chicken darn near impossible to keep on the hook and beef liver stayed on long enough for four or five fish! Tried it here in Oregon and might as well been using chicken liver. All I could find was calf liver and its about as bad as chicken liver, .

Thor are nice looking fish! Was getting them about that size innthe John Day River. But last couple years it's gone down hill really bad. But did get my biggest last year, 8 1/2 lbs. Really missing it this year. One cats all summer, 12"! Tell you what I do best with bait for them is Chicken...

I have seldom seen grouse in Oregon but hunted them a lot in Montana and Alaska. Gonna start again this year. Got two young dogs that I've never shot a bird for and my old dog, their dad, that most his hunting has been on pen raised chukar. Never have found many game birds in central Oregon...

Used to love East Lake. Ate my first frog there. Though my mother was gonna kroke. That was late 1940's. Was there about 20 yrs ago and boy has it changed. Used to be a one narrow dirt road in. That last time it was all paved. But did catch plenty of 8" fish!

I have never done any good on that lake. Matter of fact, about every time I've been there I've ended up having motor trouble on the boat. I avoid the place!

Before taking your motor to Cottonwood Bridge you need to check and see if it's legal. I know at Clarno you can use a motor above the bridge but not below.

Just thought about it. Direct Drive Zebco I got new about 1965 came spooled with braid line. Been using that line a long time and it's still on the reel!
