Need bigger stick and hook.

My kids used to use a stick , a hook , some string and a worm . they caught a lot of trout.

There are no markers , I just stay away from the shallow areas just upstream of the launch .

It was dead today , but I got to freeze my ass off this morning at Oxbow. I feel lucky with the 6 hens that I got .

Hate to tell you this but all of my coho came from the launch area.

ThAll hens.ere are still a lot of coho coming for the Sandy , they have been held up by low water . I was hoping for more rain than this . At this rate I will still be on the Sandy in Nov. I called the hatchery and they told me only about 500 have returned . Last year about 3000 returned . Need...

Got a fatty coho keeper at Oxbow yesterday . Spinner . There are rollers in there , not many yet . Need rain.

Toss #4 spinners at Oxbow Park , coho , right now !

Go to Oxbow Park on the Sandy and toss #4 spinners for spring salmon . Forget trout.

You would need a # 35 spinner.

I need to be honest with you. Springer fishing in that part of the valley is not very good. All the action is near Portland. Sandy , Clackamas , Columbia . Much brighter fish.
