Fishing near Eel Lake this weekend

I'm fishing near Eel lake this weekend on the coast - wondering if it's worth bringing my bigger gear and fishing the coast, or bringing my fly gear to hit the umpqua, or brining my bass gear to just fish the lake.

Any suggestions? (besides bring them all)

The lake has a nice bass and trout population. I have also caught crappie there. The wind can really kick up on it.

Eel Lake is always a lot of fun. I have had my best luck fishing the back finger for trout. We typically troll wedding rings or smaller blue foxes, if there is a good hatch then I will sit up in the bow and flip a fly back towards shore. I have no idea what the bite in the salt is like at the moment. I have heard a couple of reports that the bottom fishing has been good off of the rocks, but have yet to test it out myself.

Fishing was good at eel lake. I threw a crawdad bassplug all day, dark brown. My arms hurt, but we caught a bunch of fish. List quite a few right at the boat - all in all a good day.

Roger, I do believe that one is tagged:). Curious how it ended up on its roof.

We were there when it happened. Stolen car, dumped in the middle of the night.
